  • May 15 - September 10, 2010, The Port Colborne Farmers' Market - this market operates every Friday morning from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm. This year the market will also be open Sunday mornings 9am - 2pm, from May 15 to September 10, 2010. Location: Across from City Hall Port Colborne
  • June 17 - September 4, Show Boat Festival Theatre - The Showboat Festival Theatre is a professional theatre company performing at the Roselawn Centre, a beautifully restored 19th century mansion, in Port Colborne. 2010 promises to offer delightful and action packed performances from June 17th until September 4th.   • July 4, 2010, Canal Fest Antique Car Show - Up to 250 antique cars will be on display and competing for cash and prizes at the 16th Annual Annual Canal Fest Car Show at Lock 8 Park in Port Colborne. Plenty of crafters and artisans offering a fabulous mix of wares. All cars and crafters must be pre-registered.
  • July 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 2010, Annual Port Colborne Lions Carnival - Always a great event for the young and young at heart.   • July 24, 25, 26, 2009, Can-Am Walleye Challenge - The Can-Am Walleye Classic Fishing Tournament promises to offer top-notch walleye fishing to the competing anglers on Lake Erie.   • July 30, August 1, 2, 2010, Port Colborne Canal Days - Celebrating Port Colborne's marine Heritage Canal Days has something for everyone. The children's area at Seaway Park, the Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum, enjoy live entertainment in the Market Square. Canal Days also hosts an excellent Kite Festival from 10am - 4:30pm on Sunday. There will also be a Car Show at HH Knoll Lakeview Park on Sunday and a boat parade of lights beginning around 9pm followed by a spectacular fireworks display, plus so much more.   • August 1, 2010, 17th Annual Canal Days Kite Festival -The Annual Canal Days Kite Festival will be held at Lakeview Park in Port Colborne, ON.   • December 4, 2010, Port Colbourne Santa Clause Parade - The Port Colborne Santa Claus Parade starts at 6:30 pm in front of Port Colborne High School at the corner of Steele and Elgin Sts. The parade travels along Steele Street to Clarence; along Clarence to West Street; West Street to Charlotte Street, turning right on Charlotte St. and ending at City Hall. After the parade a reception will be held at City Hall giving the children an opportunity to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus, deliver their Christmas wishes and enjoy some light refreshments. Location: Begins at Port Colborne High School Port Colborne.
  • December 5, 2010, Grand Old Christmas Festival - Experience the sights, sounds and smells of the Christmas season at the Port Colborne Museum. To experience a true traditional Christmas treat, visit Arabella's Tea Room for a cup of hot tea and some Christmas puddin. Location: Port Colborne Museum Port Colborne.

St. Catherines

  • July 10, 2010, Downtown St. Catharines Classic Car Show - Hits the streets on July 10th for the 8th Annual Downtown St. Catharines Classic Car Show. Come see some of the greatest automobiles of the 20th century lining the streets of Downtown, including St. Paul Street, Queen Street and James Street. Take in the low-riding hop-off competition. Last year this event drew over 400 cars and thousands of spectators. Fun for the entire family. Admission is FREE!   • July 24, 2010, 11th Annual Dragon Boat Festival - The St. Catharines Museum and Wellspring Niagara present the 11th annual Dragon Boat Festival. Get involved or be a spectator on the waters of the Historic Henley as Dragon Boat teams from Niagara and beyond partake in a day of family fun and competition. This event is held at the Historic Henley on the banks of Martindale Pond, Port Dalhousie.
  • August 6, 2010 GM Powertrain Show & Shine Auto Show - The date for the GM Powertrain St. Catharines Auto Show Event is Friday August 6, 2010 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) at McKinnon Park. Last year we had 511 vehicles registered. The S & S is open to all GM powered vehicles and those registering a vehicle are given two tickets for a Plant Tour. There is also a special limited tour of the Dyno Lab. We have vendors, a portable chassis dyno and a BBQ available with proceeds from the event given to charity. There is no charge for registration and it is a one day event, rain or shine. This event is open to the general public even if you don't have a car to enter. Location: McKinnon Park St. Catharines
  • September 10, 11, 12, Niagara Greek Festival - The 5th annual Niagara Greek Festival returns to St. Catharines September 10 through 12, 2010. The festival is a celebration of Greek culture, food and entertainment. Children's play area, live entertainment, varied menu of traditional Greek food, pastries and drinks. Location: Greek Community Center St. Catharines
  • September 17 to 26, 2010, 58th Niagara Wine Festival - Autumn and harvest time also means the Niagara Wine Festival, a 58 year-old tradition that celebrates Niagara's internationally acclaimed wine industry. This event is moving forward and has been named one of North America's Top 100 Events along with becoming internationally renowned for the celebration of Niagara's upper world class wines. Over 100 events from gala wine tastings, winery and vineyard tours, and activities for the whole family. The Niagara Wine Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, September 25th and is expected to draw over 150,000 visitors to downtown St. Catharines. The Niagara Wine Festival Weekend runs in Montebello Park.
