- December 4, 2010, Port Colbourne Santa Clause Parade - The Port Colborne Santa Claus Parade starts at 6:30 pm in front of Port Colborne High School at the corner of Steele and Elgin Sts. The parade travels along Steele Street to Clarence; along Clarence to West Street; West Street to Charlotte Street, turning right on Charlotte St. and ending at City Hall. After the parade a reception will be held at City Hall giving the children an opportunity to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus, deliver their Christmas wishes and enjoy some light refreshments. 511 vehicles registered.
The S & S
is open to all
GM powered vehicles
and those registering
a vehicle are
given two tickets
for a Plant Tour.
There is also
a special limited
tour of the Dyno
Lab. We have vendors,
a portable chassis
dyno and a BBQ
available with
proceeds from
the event given
to charity. There
is no charge for
registration and
it is a one day
event, rain or
shine. This event
is open to the
general public
even if you don't
have a car to

September 17 to 26, 2010, 58th Niagara Wine Festival
- Autumn and harvest time also means the Niagara Wine Festival, a 58 year-old tradition that celebrates Niagara's internationally acclaimed wine industry. This event is moving forward and has been named one of North America's Top 100 Events along with becoming internationally renowned for the celebration of Niagara's upper world class wines. Over 100 events from gala wine tastings, winery and vineyard tours, and activities for the whole family. The Niagara Wine Festival Parade will be held on Saturday, September 25th and is expected to draw over 150,000 visitors to downtown St. Catharines. The Niagara Wine Festival Weekend runs in Montebello Park.
